Last year on August 17, in the Teatro Tapia in Old San Juan, el actor puertorriqueño Jorge Alberti appeared in a production of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Ángeles en América”. Jorge played the part of Joe Pitt, a Mormon lawyer who struggles with his sexual identity. It was not his first time playing gay; he had previously done so in the 2006 TV mini-series “Dueña y señora”.
