Bento Ribeiro

Bento Ribeiro, 27, was born on June 13, 1981 in Portugal and moved to Brazil at the age of one; he lived in Berlin for three years before moving to Rio de Janeiro, where lives today. A graduate of the Casa de Arte das Laranjeiras in Rio, he wrote, acted in, and directed the play “Zapeando". He made his television debut seven years ago on the teen drama "Malhação". Recently he appeared as the truck driver Juca in the telenovela "A Favorita", and in March he'll make his debut as the newest VJ of MTV Brasil, where he'll host the humor show "Furo MTV". He's the son of writer João Ubaldo Ribeiro.
