Arturo Longton

Arturo Longton was one of the three finalists of the first season of La Granja, a 2005 Chilean reality television show which put a group of 12 people living together on a farm. He was apparently a bit of a controversial figure:

Arturo Longton, currently starring in the reality TV show “La Granja (The Farm),” still refuses to pay compensation for running over and killing Carlos Astudillo more than eight years ago.
Longton was sentenced to 3 ½ years imprisonment for the incident, but financial responsibility was placed squarely on the shoulders of one of Chile’s leading charity organizations, Cáritas, because the vehicle involved in the accident was registered under the name of the charity...
Longton’s father, Dep. Arturo Longton Sr. of the National Renovation (RN) party, claimed Astudillo was drunk at the time of the incident and that he died at the hospital from an infection, not from the actual accident itself...
